My prediction for the TaxAct Camellia Bowl and why Georgia St. is better than their record shows.
The game will be played on Christmas between Georgia St. (7-5) and Ball St. (6-6). Ball St. had a great stretch in the middle of the season when they beat Army, Western Michigan, and Eastern Michigan. However, aside from that stretch they have not impressed at all. They only beat FCS WIU by 10, they only beat Akron by 6, and lost 6 other games. Georgia St.’s 5 losses were all to teams I think are good. North Carolina, Appalachian St., and Army all blew them out, but Georgia St. nearly beat Auburn and Louisiana! Aside from the losses, Georgia St. has been good with double digit wins against ULM, Texas St., Charlotte, Arkansas St., and Troy while also getting a win at Coastal Carolina. I really like this Georgia St. team and think they will win and cover 27-17.
