Week 4: Game Predictions

My predictions for the top games of week 4:

Last Week: 2-3 (1-4)

Overall: 9-6 (6-9)

6 Florida State (-2.0) at 19 Clemson

This game is huge. If Florida State wins, I think it is safe to say that Clemson is officially over. Florida State looked really good against LSU, but looked a little shaky against Boston College. Clemson’s score against Duke I believe is a little deceiving. Had a couple of unlucky plays gone differently, Clemson could have won. I think Clemson will surprise everyone with an upset at home.

10 Ole Miss at 11 Alabama (-6.5)

This game may end up deciding the SEC West. Alabama looked terrible last week, but their offense should make a little bit of a resurgence with Milroe back at QB. On the other side, Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart has looked like the best QB in the SEC and possibly a top 10 QB in the country. In the end, I think Ole Miss covers, but Alabama gets the win as the home field advantage is the deciding factor.

22 Colorado at 13 Oregon (-21.0)

This spread is pretty steep. I’m not the biggest Colorado man in the world. They barely beat a bad CSU team and an average TCU team. Their defense is bad, but Shedeur Sanders is one of top QBs in the country… but so is Bo Nix. I think Oregon wins, but 21 points is a bit much, so I’ll pick Colorado to cover.

24 UCLA at 15 Utah (-6.0)

Utah hasn’t looked great the last few weeks, but Cam Rising is coming back. I expect a little rust from him, but their offense should be much improved. Looking at UCLA, I’m still not sure what to expect from them. They haven’t really beaten anybody yet, and they have a freshman QB. I’ll pick Utah to win and cover.

8 Ohio State (-3.0) at 9 Notre Dame

This could be a defensive slug fest. I’m not confident in Kyle McCord, but I am confident in both defenses. It will be very interesting to see these teams finally play against a good opponent. The deciding factor in this one is Sam Hartman. He is, I believe, by far the better QB option. I pick Notre Dame to win it outright.
