Texas Tech (+14.0) at Texas
It’s do or die for Texas. They have been hanging on by a thread for weeks, but they have kept on winning. TTU is thirsty to beat their rival before they move to the SEC. While they may not get the outright win, I like Texas Tech to make this close.
UNLV (-2.5) vs SJSU
SJSU has been hot lately, but so has UNLV, and I think the Rebels have had more impressive wins. This line is basically a pick’em, so I think UNLV is a lock.
Georgia (-24.0) at Georgia Tech
Alright, Georgia is playing like the best team in the country. I understand Georgia Tech has crafted some upsets this year, but Georgia is on another level. Georgia is going to be up by 24 by halftime and destroy their rivals.
Upset Alert
NCST (+2.5) vs North Carolina
To be honest, North Carolina has not been very good this year. Since they beat Miami, they have been 2-3, including losses to Virginia and Georgia Tech. NCST on the other hand, has won 4 straight and looked good doing it. The Wolfpack also get this game at home, so I like them to get the outright win.
Game of the Week
5 Ohio State at 6 Michigan
For the most part, I think these two teams are extremely even. They both have elite defenses and offenses that struggle at times. While it is being played in the Big House, Michigan has not been the same since Harbaugh was suspended. Ohio State has been better on offense (especially in the run game) and they have possibly the best player in college football with Marvin Harrison Jr. at WR. I like Ohio State to pull off the upset in the Big House.
