Conference Championship Picks 2023 (C-USA – MW)

My picks for every conference championship in 2023:

C-USA

Liberty (-11.0) vs New Mexico State

O/U: 56.5

Liberty is one of the few undefeated teams left, but they have had a very easy schedule. Their best win? New Mexico State 33-17. That was way back in week 3. Since then, the Aggies have won 9 of their last 10 and 8 straight including a 21 point win at Auburn. NMSU is rolling. With all that being said, I think Liberty gets the win as they have their eyes set on a NY6 bowl bid behind great QB play.

Pac 12

Oregon (-10.0) vs Washington

O/U: 65.5

Despite beating them earlier this season, Washington his a heavy underdog. Oregon has played like the better team ever since that game. The Ducks have been dominant, and Washington has barely been hanging on to their undefeated record. I like Oregon to win, but they’ll have trouble stopping Michael Penix Jr. and the Huskies’ explosive offense.

Oregon 31 Washington 28 (Under)

Big 12

Texas (-15.5) vs Oklahoma State

O/U: 54.5

Texas has been rolling, I believe has a very good chance at a playoff bid with a win. Oklahoma State is about as inconsistent as you can get. I don’t think it will matter which Cowboys team shows up because Texas will be ready and absolutely beat the piss out of OKST.

MAC

Toledo (-8.0) vs Miami (OH)

O/U: 43.5

Alright, I’ll level with you; I don’t know all that much about teams from the MAC, but I’ll tell you what I do know. Toledo has won 11 straight games and should have beaten Illinois in week 1. Miami (OH) has been dominant against other MAC competition (except for in their loss against Toledo) and they have a win over Power 5 Cincinnati. This game will be close, but I like Toledo to win their 12th game in a row.

Boise State (-2.5) vs UNLV

O/U: 58.5

The MW was a very interesting conference throughout the season as everyone beat each other up, which will probably lead to the conference being without a NY6 bowl bid yet again. With all that being said, I think these are both quality teams. I think UNLV will end up getting the win though as Boise State has been pretty up and down all season with an Interim Coach.
