NFL QB Rankings

My rankings of QBs in the NFL:

This has been a crazy season for NFL QBs with so many injuries and overall bad play, but I’ll do my best to rank them. I will rank every QB that I expect will finish the season: (I will highlight those that were the expected starters)

  1. Patrick Mahomes (KC)
  2. Lamar Jackson (BAL)
  3. Tua Tagovailoa (MIA)
  4. Brock Purdy (SF)
  5. Josh Allen (BUF)
  6. Dak Prescott (DAL)
  7. Jalen Hurts (PHI)
  8. Trevor Lawrence (JAX)
  9. CJ Stroud (HOU)
  10. Jared Goff (DET)
  11. Russell Wilson (DEN)
  12. Gardner Minshew (IND)
  13. Baker Mayfield (TB)
  14. Matthew Stafford (LAR)
  15. Kyler Murray (ARI)
  16. Jordan Love (GB)
  17. Derek Carr (NO)
  18. Sam Howell (WAS)
  19. Aidan O’Connell (LV)
  20. Geno Smith (SEA)
  21. Will Levis (TEN)
  22. Justin Fields (CHI)
  23. Jake Browning (CIN)
  24. Joe Flacco (CLE)
  25. Zach Wilson (NYJ)
  26. Bryce Young (CAR)
  27. Tommy DeVito (NYG)
  28. Bailey Zappe (NE)
  29. Desmond Ridder (ATL)
  30. Nick Mullens (MIN)
  31. Mitch Trubisky (PIT)
  32. Easton Stick (LAC)

Notice the amount of backup QBs and big names missing (Aaron Rodgers, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Kirk Cousins, etc.). There are many teams that are still in playoff contention despite having average-poor QB play though like: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Minnesota.

It should be interesting to see if the teams with the top QBs can take advantage of these injuries come playoff time.
