Texas (-7.5) at Michigan
I think Texas is the top team in the country, and Michigan is severely overrated after seeing their offense struggle against Fresno State. Texas has so much more athleticism and experience, I would be shocked if this game stayed close.
USF at Alabama (-31)
Alabama was dominant last week, and while USF is a better than WKU, they aren’t 30 points better. Alabama will win by 40+ again this week.
Kansas (-5.5) at Illinois
I don’t think Illinois will be very good this year, and I don’t think Kansas is getting as much general respect as they should. Kansas’ offense is just so much better than Illinois’, that I would be surprised if this one was even close.
Upset Alert
Pittsburgh (+1.5) at Cincinnati
Pittsburgh impressed me last week with a 55 point performance over Kent State. Cincinnati was kind of average as I expected, and I think Pitt is a little better. I don’t love it, but the Panthers should come out of this with a win.
Game of the Week
1 Texas at 15 Michigan
As I said before, Texas outclasses Michigan in just about every way. Texas will win this one by 20+.
