Who’s up? Who’s down? And who’s the new Heisman favorite?
Heisman Watch
Two players really stood out to me this week. RB Ashton Jeanty had another masterclass for Boise State with 26 attempts for 259 yards and 4 TDs against WASU. QB Jalen Milroe outdueled Carson Beck and had a career game against one of the best defenses in the country. He was 27/33 for 374 yards and 2 TDs through the air while he added 16 carries for 117 yards and 2 TDs on the ground. This is by far the best I have ever seen Jalen Milroe play.

Stock Up
Boise State Broncos
Boise State just had one of their biggest tests of the season in WASU, and they dominated. Ashton Jeanty might very well be the best player on all of college football, and Boise State might steam roll everyone who’s left on their schedule. They play Utah State next week, and they should get another easy W.
Colorado Buffaloes
I didn’t realize Colorado was capable of a 48-21 win on the road in conference, but sometimes having 2 1st round guys is too much. Shedeur and Hunter dominated. Colorado has a bye and then plays against Kansas State in week 7.
SMU Mustangs
I don’t think Florida State is very good, but SMU seems to have found another gear with Kevin Jennings at QB. After losing to BYU, SMU has looked really good, and they have a somewhat favorable schedule remaining. They get a real test this week as they play on the road at Louisville.
Stock Down
Utah Utes
The offense just isn’t great right now. I knew it wasn’t good, but I figured it would be good enough after the Oklahoma State game, but apparently not. The Utes still have a really good shot at winning the Big 12, but boy do they need Cam Rising to come back.
USF Bulls
USF’s playoff hopes are over. They had respectable performances against Alabama and Miami, but they got railed by Tulane. They still have a shot at making the AAC championship, but the the playoffs are completely out of the picture now.
UCF Golden Knights
I didn’t have a lot of expectations for UCF, but I was not expecting them to get dominated by Colorado of all teams. Typical Gus Malzahn I guess.
