After taking a break last week, I’m back with my locks:

Locks
Oklahoma (+17) vs Texas
This rivalry game is almost always really close, no matter how good the teams are. There is always chaos, and Oklahoma has big play potential, albeit, with no consistency. Their defense may give Texas some trouble as well, and I don’t see Texas winning by more than 2 touchdowns.
Penn State (-3.5) at USC
Penn State is much better than USC. USC’s offense has struggled this season, and I think Penn State has the best defense they’ve faced all season. While I’m not as high on Penn State as others, I just don’t see USC keeping this within a touchdown.
Stanford (+22.5) at Notre Dame
I don’t think Stanford is great, but Notre Dame’s offense isn’t very good. It probably wouldn’t require that many points for Stanford to cover. Notre Dame will definitely win, but Stanford might be able to stay in it for a little while.
Upset Alert
Marshall at Georgia Southern (+1)
Okay, not that much of an upset, but GASO is a pretty quality team, their seems pretty good and their only losses are to Boise State and Ole Miss. Marshall is pretty good too, but GASO has the homefield advantage, so I’ll go with them.
Game of the Week
2 Ohio State at 5 Oregon
This is the first big game for both of these teams. Both teams have been very good so far, but Ohio State seems more locked in. They have been more dominant, and I think their talent has a higher ceiling.
