My top 10 Alabama plays of all time but now considering the first two years of the DeBoer era
1 – 2nd and 26
This is one of the happiest moments of my life. Nowadays it takes an entire quarter to get as many yards as were gained in this play. Ugh.
2 – Grave Digger
This play was so amazing, especially since I was watching it with an Auburn fan. Poor guy.
3 – Kenyan Drake Kick Return
The play of the game in my favorite Alabama game ever.
4 – Jalen Hurts Redemption
It was so poetic that Jalen Hurts was able to come in for Tua to comeback and beat Georgia.
This is the best video I could find… (the run is the play I mainly think of)
5 – Ryan Williams vs Georgia
If only Ryan Williams could have played like this in 2025…
6 – Bryce Young ties the game against Auburn
This was one of the ugliest Iron Bowls I have ever seen, but I will always remember this beauty of a pass.
7 – Onside Kick in the Championship
Another great play in that great game against Clemson and Deshaun Watson. This one completely caught me off guard and was one of the riskiest moves I have ever seen Nick Saban make.
8 – Calvin Ridley TD vs Georgia
This play is overshadowed by 2nd and 26, but this is the play is just as important.
9 – Jonathan Allen Superman Sack
This play automatically made Jonathan Allen one of my favorite players, and he still is one of my favorites now 10 years later.
10 – Najee Harris Hurdle
This is makybe the best hurdle I have ever seen. The only thing that would have made this better is if he would have finished it off with a TD.
