Alabama (-11.0) at Kentucky
Alabama has beaten LSU, Ole Miss, and Tennessee by 14 points each, and they’re only favored by 11.5 coming off their best performance of the year. Alabama is by far the better team and will destroy the Wildcats.
Kansas (-3.5) vs Texas Tech
I don’t understand this line. Kansas has been disrespected by the oddsmakers all year. Kansas is hot right now, and Texas Tech is as cold as can be. I like the Jayhawks big.
Oklahoma State (-2.5) at UCF
Oklahoma State is the hottest team in college football. UCF has been not good this year. I guess the oddsmakers think the Cowboys are going to come out flat after the big win last week, but I think Mike Gundy is gonna have them ready to play in Orlando.
Upset Alert
Boston College (+2.5) vs Virginia Tech
Both teams had a terrible start to the season, but both have come back in big ways. BC has 5 straight wins now and Virginia Tech is coming off their biggest loss of the season that took them out of ACC championship conversation. I like Boston College to get the upset at home.
Game of the Week
1 Michigan at 9 Penn State
I can’t ignore the obvious; Jim Harbaugh being gone will definitely change the flow of this game, but maybe not in the way that you would expect. I think Michigan is going to be even more motivated to show the world that they’re ready to beat the good teams this year, and Penn State won’t be able to move the ball effectively. Michigan wins and covers.
